  • Locum day rates for Consultant Physicians are typically $1,200 - $2,500, depending on hospital and role requirements.
  • Permanent Consultant Physicians can earn between $200,000 - $500,000+ per year, depending on experience, seniority and location.

What qualifications do you need to work in Australia?

To work in Australia, Physicians require an Australasian Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent, AHPRA registration and Australian working rights.

All our Doctors have access to expert advice on the registration process with the College, AHPRA and Medicare. We also have an external migration agent, who can also assist with immigration matters.
