Here’s a quick summary of the current border restrictions and entry requirements for each Australian state & territory, and New Zealand, as of 9am on Monday, 28 June 2021:

ACT

Open to all parts of Australia/New Zealand except Greater Sydney & Darwin (online declaration required if coming from an affected location)

NSW

Open to all parts of Australia/New Zealand (anyone arriving from Victoria must complete an online declaration)

NT

Open to all parts of Australia/New Zealand except Greater Sydney (border entry form required)

QLD

Open to all parts of Australia/New Zealand except Greater Sydney (border pass required for all arrivals from NSW; travel declaration required for arrivals from other states/territories)

SA

Open to Tasmania & New Zealand; travel not permitted from NSW, NT, ACT, QLD or WA; arrivals from Victoria must get a COVID-19 test after arrival (travel registration required)

TAS

Open to all parts of Australia/New Zealand except Greater Sydney & Darwin (Tas e-Travel registration required)

VIC

Open to most parts of Australia/New Zealand except Greater Sydney & Darwin; testing requirement for travellers from Brisbane, Perth, Canberra and most other parts of NSW (border permit required)

WA

Open to SA, TAS & New Zealand; travel not permitted from NSW; self-quarantine for arrivals from VIC, ACT, QLD & NT (G2G pass required)

NZ

Travel bubble paused – no entry from anywhere in Australia (travel declaration required)
