What Qualifications do you need to work in Paediatrics?

The specialist qualification in Australia is Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

You can check your training program against the RACP training program, to see if it is comparable in terms of content, duration, governance, and assessment.

If so, you may be able to apply for Specialist Assessment in Australia. The RACP training programme is 5 years. Doctors who have completed training in the UK/ Ireland (RCPCH + RCPI) are often deemed comparable.

All our Doctors have access to expert advice on the registration process with the College, Ahpra and Medicare. We also have an external migration agent, who can assist with immigration matters.
